May : The Quiet Revolution Within

There are months that pass by quietly, and then there are months that leave fingerprints on your soul. For me, May was the latter. Not because something dramatic happened. Not because life suddenly became easier.  But because somewhere between ordinary days, workplace conversations, gym sessions, and moments of solitude, I realized I was no longer the same person who had entered the month. Chapter 1: Strength Beyond the Mirror The most visible changes often get noticed first. The extra set at the gym. The longer walks. The growing stamina.  The strength that quietly replaces fatigue. But this wasn't merely a physical transformation. Every drop of sweat became a reminder that growth is rarely comfortable.  The body was getting stronger, yes but so was the mind learning to show up consistently even on days when motivation was nowhere to be found. May taught me that discipline whispers where motivation screams. Chapter 2: Learning to Flow With Change Professionally, th...

The Exhaustion of Pretending We’re Okay

"Some of us are not tired because we worked too hard. We are tired because we spent too much time pretending we were okay.”  Humans are complex beings. We spend so much of our lives trapped between right and wrong, constantly creating perspectives only to question them again later.  We fear judgment, rejection, loss, failure, loneliness, and the uncertainties life quietly places in front of us. Somewhere along the way, we learned how to survive , but forgot how to truly live. We mastered delayed replies while secretly hoping someone would notice we were not okay. We learned to say “I’m fine” with a smile polished enough to hide sleepless nights, anxious thoughts, emotional exhaustion, and silent battles nobody knew existed. And perhaps that is the saddest part of modern life. Not the pain itself. But the pressure to hide it. The Performance of Being “Fine” The world rewards people who appear strong. Social media rewards polished lives. Workplaces reward emotional endurance. So...

April: In Chapters, Not Conclusions..

Chapter 1: The Return of Unfinished Feelings April brought back fragments I thought I had already made peace with. Not loudly, not all at once, but in moments.  A thought here. A feeling there. Enough to remind me that healing isn’t linear, and closure isn’t always permanent. I didn’t try to fight it this time. I let those emotions exist without rushing to label them as good or bad.  And in doing so, I realised, some things don’t come back to break you, they come back to check if you’ve grown. And maybe I had. Chapter 2: Love, But in Quieter Forms.. Amidst that emotional noise, something softer stayed. Love, but not the overwhelming, cinematic kind. This was different.  It was steady. Almost easy to miss if you weren’t paying attention. It showed up in conversations that felt safe. In silences that didn’t feel empty. In people who didn’t need explanations to understand you. April reminded me that not all love announces itself. Some of it just… stays. Chapter 3: A Bi...

Marching Through March

Chapter 1 : I Didn’t Enter March: It Entered Me March wasn’t a page I turned. It was a page that started writing back. No grand goals. No “this month will change everything” energy. Just a strange sense of movement, like life had already pressed play, and I was catching up to it. And maybe that’s the truth we don’t talk about enough.  Not all progress is planned. Some of it… happens despite you. Chapter 2: The Myth of Motivation Let me say this clearly, March wasn’t driven by motivation. It was driven by obedience to routine. Showing up when it felt repetitive. Delivering when it felt unnoticed. Continuing when nothing felt extraordinary. We glorify passion. But it’s discipline that quietly builds a life no one sees coming. And this month? It stripped away the illusion that I need to “feel like it” to move forward. Chapter 3: The Version of Me That Started Leading Somewhere in between deadlines and distractions, something shifted. I stopped waiting, for clarity, for validatio...

February : The Month I Came Home to Myself

Image
If January was blooming, February was belonging. Belonging to myself. To my pace. To my peace. This month did not scream transformation. It whispered alignment. Chapter 1: Full Circle, But Wiser There’s something poetic about February in my life. In February 2025, I released my first poetry book , uncertain, hopeful, quietly ambitious.  I didn’t know who would read it. I didn’t know who would care. I just knew I had to write. February 2026? My fifth poetry book. The difference isn’t just in the number.   It’s in the nervous system. Last year, I was chasing proof.  This year, I’m standing in pattern. Consistency is underrated.  We celebrate breakthroughs but forget the silent discipline behind them.  Five books didn’t happen because of one inspired night.  They happened because I chose to show up even on uninspired days. February didn’t just mark a release.  It marked resilience. Life truly comes full...

January, or the Art of Becoming

Nothing shattered. Nothing demanded to be declared. Change arrived the way morning light does:  unannounced, persistent, certain. Somewhere between silence and resolve, she began choosing herself without rehearsing an explanation. The Mind Learns to Rest:  There was a time her thoughts ran faster than her breath, when stillness felt undeserved. Now, she lets thoughts pass, without inviting them to stay. Overthinking loosened its hold, the day she realised, not every worry was hers to carry, not every outcome hers to control. Peace, she learned, is not found, it is practiced. Decisions That Once Waited:  She started moving towards the things she once postponed. Not impulsively. Intentionally. Fear still visits, but it no longer leads. Her standards stand taller now, rooted, unmoving. She no longer bends to be chosen, no longer shrinks to be kept. Growth has begun to feel like home. A Body Honoured, A Spirit Calmed: She treats her body gently now, not as something to fix, b...

How December Found Me : Tired, Healing, Becoming

CHAPTER 1 :  The Last Bend of the Year So we stepped into the last month of 2025… me and my scattered emotions walking side by side. December didn’t feel like a month, it felt like a mirror. A mirror that made me look at parts of myself I’ve been avoiding for too long. It brought clarity, “See? This is what broke you. And this… this is what held you.” And maybe for the first time in a long time, I listened. I’m not fully healed, but I’m trying… in bits and pieces, one sunrise, one setback, one small victory at a time. CHAPTER 2 : Milestones That Softened My Heart This December gifted me a moment I’ll never forget, the hardbound copy of my research paper arrived. A dream that once felt too heavy for my shoulders… now resting in my hands. I sat with it for a while, holding it like something delicate, because it wasn’t just a book, it was proof that I didn’t give up on myself even when life made giving up look easier. For a moment, I felt happiness, that didn’t need validation a...
